We pray this so that the name of our Lord Jesus may be glorified in you, and you in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.2 Thessalonians 1:12

We as human beings like when we get the glory for things. We look at the structures that we have built or our own personal accomplishments and enjoy the recognition that comes with them.

But God calls for us to have a different type of Glory. Paul prays that the Name of Jesus Christ would be glorified in you and you in Him. That our relationship would be so deep that anything we do would result in glory to God. That any recognition we may receive may result in God getting praise.

We know that every good thing comes from above, so in every good thing we should be giving the glory back to the Lord Jesus Christ who rescued our souls. May our names be put low and Gods name be lifted high!
