Who is He?
Matthew 16:13-17 – When Jesus came to the region of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, “Who do people say the Son of Man is?” They replied, “Some say John the Baptist; others say Elijah; and still others, Jeremiah or one of the prophets.” “But what about you?” he asked. “Who do you say I am?” Simon Peter answered, “You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.” Jesus replied, “Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, for this was not revealed to you by flesh and blood, but by my Father in heaven.
United Faith Church,
Jesus had this conversation with His disciples over 2000 years ago and still today the same conversation continues. Who is this Jesus Christ? Different people have different answers.
Some say He is a good example that shows us how to be a good person. Some say that He was a political leader that is no longer prevalent in our modern day society. Yet others know Him as Jesus Christ, the Son of God and the saving grace to all mankind.
Who is this Jesus Christ? He is Gods love to the world; He is the redeemer of our sins; He is the power of God to break all power of sin. We cannot come to know Jesus Christ in this way by our own “Reasoning”. Only by the grace of God can we come into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ that brings power and holiness.
I pray that you will continue to grow in relationship with the Messiah, the Son of the living God. And I pray that this relationship will breed supernatural fruit in your lives.
Amen,
Kris
