Psalm 29:7-9
The voice of the Lord strikes with flashes of lightning.
The voice of the Lord shakes the desert; the Lord shakes the Desert of Kadesh.
The voice of the Lord twists the oaks and strips the forests bare.
And in his temple all cry, “Glory!”

As I woke up this morning, God was reminding me of the power of His voice. All through out the Bible when men would hear it they would describe it as thunder and lightning. If you have ever been outside during a lightning storm than you know how powerful the voice of God must sound.

If just God’s voice is that powerful, that gives us a small glimpse into how powerful and majestic God truly is. He is a God that deserves all honor and praise; for the One who created the heavens and the earth has remembered a people that were not even His people.

We serve an awesome and powerful God! Give Him praise today for who He is and that He has chosen to make us His people.

Let everyone in His temple give Him glory!
