“As I looked, “thrones were set in place, and the Ancient of Days took his seat.
His clothing was as white as snow; the hair of his head was white like wool.
His throne was flaming with fire, and its wheels were all ablaze.
 A river of fire was flowing, coming out from before him.
Thousands upon thousands attended him; ten thousand times ten thousand stood before him.Daniel 7:9-10

If we look at our culture or what fills the media we can see that there are many things that surround us that are worshiped.

People worship money, sports, celebrities or even ideals such as success. In devoting so much energy to these things they become a type of God in people’s lives.

But the Bible tells us that there is only one true God. Our God is the creator of the heavens and the earth and sits enthroned in heaven. He is the Most High God, seated above all other things and the earth is His footstool.

Let us, as His holy church, give Him today all the praise that He is due. The world may give their worship to the gods of this world but we exalt God the Father as the King over all the earth!

Romans 14:11

It is written:
“‘As surely as I live,’ says the Lord,
‘every knee will bow before me;
every tongue will acknowledge God.’”
