The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands.
Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they reveal knowledge.
They have no speech, they use no words; no sound is heard from them.
Yet their voice goes out into all the earth, their words to the ends of the world.Psalm 19:1-4

It’s hard to look up at the sky at night and not be awed by the creation of God. We are but a speck of dust in comparison to the vast galaxies that God has put into place. Yet as small as we are, God’s eyes and love have been upon us.

Although the skies and heavens do not use words, they sing of the goodness and power of God. Their very existence proclaims the awesome wonder of the God that we serve. It speaks to a creator in heaven whom loves and cares for us even though we are such a small portion of all of His creation.

Thank you Lord that you created the heavens, the earth, the stars and your creation stretches on forever. Yet in all of that, you still love us and sent your son to die so that we may know you.
