See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are!1 John 3:1

Just think about the depth of love that God has for us.  He hasn’t called us into empty religion that leaves us unsatisfied or endless rituals that leave us lifeless.  He calls us into his family!  He connects us to his own heart and becomes the very lifeline that causes us to be pure and walk in love.

We are children of God that haven’t been abandoned as orphans but cupped in the hands of our Father!

As his children may our prayer today be to, “have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.”

Thank you Father for the love that you have for your children, may we carry that love deep in our hearts and spread it through our homes, our jobs, our communities and beyond!
