After Jesus was born in Bethlehem in Judea, during the time of King Herod, Magi from the east came to Jerusalem and asked, “Where is the one who has been born king of the Jews? We saw his star when it rose and have come to worship him.”Matthew 2:1-2

The Magi followed the Star of Bethlehem in search of the Messiah when He was born. They saw the light from afar and followed it to its source so that they could come and worship the “King of the Jews”.

Jesus Christ has been a beacon of light since the moment He was born. That light shone brightly in His life, His death and even after He ascended into Heaven.

Today, that light lives inside of men through His Holy Spirit. We should be the ones shining the light of Jesus Christ to all those near and all those far away. Our light should be drawing people from all over back to the Lord Jesus Christ. May people come searching for the source of this light and be reconciled back to our Father in Heaven.

Let His light shine bright this day and may people come to know The King through the light that shines through our hearts.
