He will sit as a refiner and purifier of silver, and he will purify the sons of Levi and refine them like gold and silver, and they will bring offerings in righteousness to the LORDMalachi 3:3

This verse in Malachi is specific in the ones that will bring righteous offerings to the Lord. He calls us to something higher than just attending church or trying to live a good life. He calls us to be purified and refined. The Lord calls us to stand before His holy presence and bear our hearts before Him so that the desires of our flesh can be burnt away and righteousness would rise.

We need to be a people who seek after His refining fire. Ones who not only have an experience with God but have a life that has been completely transformed. Not ones who fight with the flesh but ones that overcome the flesh.

As this verse says, it is the ones who have been purified and refined that bring “offerings in righteousness”. I pray that we could be ones that bring that type of true offerings to God.
