Church,
In reading these you cant help but feel the intimacy between David and God. It was an intimacy that was forged from long days spent in the fields talking to God about the tribulations that God helped him overcome. It was with God that David spent his youth tending the sheep. It was with God that David killed the lion and the bear and it was with God that David was made into the King of the nation.

Intimacy is forged from relationship. It comes from spending the good times dwelling on God and the hard times standing on Him as your rock. It comes from crying out to Him in your closets to thanking Him for His deliverance.

Lord, I pray that we would come into an intimate relationship with you.
