With God we will gain the victory, and he will trample down our enemies.Psalm 60:12

There are many battles that we will face in this life, or may even be facing. Battles within, battles that surround us, or even battles we face on behalf of others. We can see them coming from every direction. Yet, the one thing the Christian DOESN’T do is retreat!

Our enemies of fear, lust, pride, or any other darkness we face deserves only one thing…a battle.  But how do we win these battles? How do we run out to confront them face to face as David did and overcome?

Only by the VICTORY that God can give. And victory is given to those who forget about the loss, who forget about what “might” happen and only set their hearts on one thing…The Lord Jesus Christ!  His name is victory!

You see, Jesus is our Savior, He’s our Healer and so much more. But we must also know Him as the Victory.  He is Victory itself for all the powers of hell couldn’t hold Him down!  And if we make room deep inside our souls for Him the only thing that can be produced in our lives is Victory. Victory over selfishness, over lust, over fear, and anything else that threatens God’s people and Kingdom because Jesus is a mighty warrior that rules and reigns over all!

Today, I pray that we stand together. That God would reveal His Son within me and you, and that He would receive honor as we conquer all that comes against His kingdom.

Let us cry out the battle cry of glory and declare war against anything within or around us that sets itself up against the Truth of God! Glory, glory, hallelujah!
