Pastor Janeth Santiago’s email regarding the reading this week got me thinking about this verse. Gods covenant with His people is fully based in love. By His love, He offers us a chance to enter into a covenant with Him. By His love, He gave us a set of commands to keep that will prosper us while underneath His covenant. By keeping His commands we reciprocate that love to our maker.

It is true that our God is a God of love. The very foundations of the relationship He keeps with His people is fully founded and kept in love.

Thank you Lord for your love that allows me to be one of your sons!
