Hebrews 9:14

 How much more, then, will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself unblemished to God, cleanse our consciences from acts that lead to death, so that we may serve the living God!

As soon as I read this verse it struck something in my heart. We have been speaking a lot of covenants lately. Well the covenant of His cleansing blood is more than just a sign. It purifies us from all sin; the acts that lead to death. One drop of His blood is enough to cover all sins and it breads righteousness! It brings life and freedom and as soon as it touches your heart it begins to transform you from a way of death to look more like the Lord Jesus Christ.

Oh Lord, thank you for the blood you shed for it was enough to bring a retched man like me from a way of death to a way of life in you!

We are not bound to Christ with just word or sign. We are bound to Christ by the very precious blood of His son. We have been cleansed from the old way. May we live a life that is worthy of the sacrifice we received.
