For, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” Romans 10:13

Many of us remember the movie Titanic. When the people were in the water, everyone was yelling out for help. They knew they needed to be saved and were yelling for any passing boat to come rescue them. In that moment, no one was quiet, no one thought they were fine or thought that they would be rescued eventually and that they just had to sit and wait. They were doing whatever it took to get saved.

God looked down upon man and saw their need for a savior. He sent His son Jesus Christ down to be the life raft to a drowning people. Now, everyone who CALLS on His name would be saved. Just as the people in the water, when you know your need for a savior you begin to shout and yell and do whatever it takes to be rescued. No one stays quiet as the life raft floats by. 

Have you called out to the name of Jesus Christ? Do you know that you are in the water and lost without him? Don’t let the life raft pass you by but call on the name of the Lord that you would be saved.
