The Lord was reminding me of the time of the judges of Israel. The people knew who their King was and that all power was in His hands because He was the God over all creation. When a judge or a prophet came, it was taken very seriously because they knew that they were the representatives of the King of Kings.

We, as Gods church, must always remember what Kingdom we belong to and who our King is. Although we live in this world we are part of a greater, higher Kingdom that was established at the beginning of time.

Let us, as Gods people, live out our life firmly planted in the Kingdom of God. May we live, not looking to please ourselves, but please the King of Kings who raised us up from the grave and seated us in His courts.
