When people are brought low and you say, ‘Lift them up!’ then he will save the downcast. He will deliver even one who is not innocent, who will be delivered through the cleanness of your hands.” Job 22:29-30

In this passage someone is trying to give Job advice on his situation. Although he misjudged the misfortune of Job, he still knew what it meant to know God.

He speaks about how the Christians righteousness can bring about the salvation of those we come into contact with. The same is true today, by our relationship with God the downcast can be lifted up! By the cleanliness of our hands the guilty could find redemption.

We are the Church and we can pave the way for the lost and broken to find salvation. So let us walk through our day in righteousness preparing the way for those in darkness to come to the light.
