You shall rejoice in your feast, you and your son and your daughter, your male servant and your female servant, the Levite, the sojourner, the fatherless, and the widow who are within your towns. It is such an awesome time in the church of God! This verse is talking about the Festival of Tabernacles, the time we are currently in. This time has been a time of celebration for the Jewish people dating back to the early books of the Bible.

We too, Church of God, should be celebrating for we have so much to rejoice in. Rejoice today that God has rescued us from the grave and granted us eternal life. Rejoice today that we do not have to live as slaves to sin but that our Holy lives can bring glory to God. Rejoice today that your name has been written in the Lamb’s Book of Life and we live a life of victory!

It is a time of REJOICING in the House of God! I pray that His joy would be on you and as we are gathering together the joy of the Lord would surround you in this awesome time.
