Bring the Word of God Wherever You Go

Word of the Week
Fix these words of mine in your hearts and minds; tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. Teach them to your children, talking about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. Write them on the door frames of your houses and on your gatesDeuteronomy 11:18-20
Church,
The Word of God is described as a lamp unto our feet in the Bible. But how will we be able to see if we forget our lamp at home?
The Word of God is what gives us direction and allows us to move with purpose. It is the law that is now written upon our hearts. It is the sword in which we fight every day with.
How can we go about our day if we are moving without it? That is why the law called the Jews to do whatever they could to remind themselves of the word wherever they went. Tie it on your hands, dwell on it in your heart, put it on your forehead; whatever it takes to remember and act upon the Word.
The church is a powerful force when it is filled with men and woman who are carrying the very word of God with them every day.
Amen,
Kris
